Driven by a new round of global technological revolution and industrial transformation, the transformation of the automobile industry has accelerated, and many places have set off a wave of investment in automobile industry projects. Automobile companies have accelerated their deployment in China, and the existing production capacity of my country’s automobile industry is further expanding.

Wang Fengying believes that as the market competition becomes more intense, the utilization of production capacity shows a development trend in which the strong are getting stronger and the weak are getting weaker, and the production capacity in the areas where the advantageous industries are concentrated is faced with insufficient production capacity. The loss of talents and other resources not only hinders local economic development, but also affects the high-quality development of China’s auto industry.

In this regard, Wang Fengying suggested that the advantages of regional agglomeration should be fully utilized to make full use of the existing production capacity to expand and strengthen the national auto industry; coordinate the development of idle production capacity, encourage mergers and reorganizations, and speed up the construction of smart factories; strengthen supervision and establish an exit mechanism to avoid waste of resources ; Promote domestic and international dual circulation, and encourage Chinese car companies to “go global” to develop overseas markets.

To this end, Wang Fengying suggested that top-level planning should be carried out at the national level to promote the application of power battery thermal runaway protection technology and help it become a must-have configuration for new energy vehicles; .

Regarding the serious shortage of chips in the automotive industry since 2021, Wang Fengying suggested that the short-term priority should be given to solving the problem of “lack of chips”; in the medium-term, the industrial layout should be improved to achieve independent control; continuous development.
