There is an agreement for the extension of solidarity for Wartsila employees. Today, Wednesday 17 January, at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, the minister Adolfo Ursusthe undersecretary with responsibility for corporate crises Faust Bergamot, Wartsilathe Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, Confindustria eh labor unions they signed an agreement on the industrial crisis of Bagnoli della Rosandra (Trieste). The meeting took place remotely and, after yesterday’s bilateral meetings at Palazzo Piacentini, it was possible to reach an agreement on the text that Mimit had already proposed last December 28th and which had led to the rupture between the company and the unions last January 9th.
The extension of the agreement was considered by all to be qualifying factors solidarity agreement to 30 June 2024, as always requested by Undersecretary Bergamotto, and the possibility for Wartsila to begin the transfer of asset e machinery subject to agreement with the trade unions and re-industrialising entities.

“I am very satisfied that Wartsila has accepted our indications, now I am sure that we will all work towards a single objective: to give a solid perspective to this reindustrialisation process” declared the undersecretary Bergamot at the end of the meeting.
