Thereās no one who knows exactly whatās coming, and I certainly donāt know. But it stands to reason: memorizing knowledge will become less important in the future, firstly because information will be constantly available everywhere and secondly: because artificial intelligence can research it itself and interpret it (even if initially in a somewhat limited way) in order to derive conclusions and decisions from it.

This also represents a huge opportunity for us. We can concentrate on what makes us strong: our curiosity and creativity. In my opinion, both have been neglected in schools and universities in the past. We would rather teach our children to read āThe Trialā by Franz Kafka like a textbook using all recognized interpretive approaches, from psychological to historical, rather than giving them the courage to write Kafkaesque themselves.
