The collection includes dresses, custom lipstick and photos of Monroe on film sets. The most expensive item is a black evening dress that she wore during the filming of the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. It should fetch up to 200,000 euros. Another outfit up for auction is a satin lavender leotard that Monroe wore for a December 1958 photo in Life magazine. The dress features a neckline trimmed with bouquets of fabric flowers and draped chiffon sashes in pink, lavender and cream. That item can go up to 40,000 euros.

The auction also includes the original program and ticket given to Monroe when she attended President John F. Kennedy’s birthday gala in 1962. There, she famously serenaded JFK with a rendition of Happy Birthday while wearing a sheer, figure-hugging Jean Louis dress that she was sewn into just before the event. The program and ticket are expected to cost between 4,000 and 6,000 euros.(tove)
