Adrian Appiolaza Takes Over as MOSCHINO’s Creative Director

MOSCHINO Announces New Creative Director

MOSCHINO, the luxury fashion brand, has officially announced that Adrian Appiolaza will be taking over as the new creative director following the unexpected passing of Davide Renne in November last year.

Adrian Appiolaza is set to make his debut with the 2024 autumn and winter women’s collection at the upcoming Milan Fashion Week. The fashion show will be held at the Museo della ermanente on February 22nd at 6pm. The location holds great significance for the brand, as it previously hosted the historic exhibition “Moschino – X anni di Kaos! 1983-1993” in 1993, celebrating Franco Moschino’s founding of the brand.

Appiolaza brings with him extensive experience in the fashion industry, having served as the women’s design director at LOEWE for over ten years, working alongside JW Anderson. Prior to that, he held the same position at Chloé and collaborated with Clare Waight Keller.

In his new role, Appiolaza will be responsible for overseeing the design of MOSCHINO’s women’s clothing, men’s clothing, and accessories, reporting directly to Massimo Ferretti, the Chairman of AEFFE Group.

With the appointment of Adrian Appiolaza, MOSCHINO looks forward to a new chapter in its creative direction and continuing its legacy as a leading fashion brand.
