Shen Yun to Perform in the Basque Country, Member of Parliament Sends Congratulatory Letter
The highly anticipated American Shen Yun New Era Art Troupe is set to grace the stage in the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain on March 23 and 24, 2024. The performances will take place at the prestigious Palacio Euskalduna, the region’s premier theater with a capacity of 2,200 spectators. Excitement is running high as all tickets for the Shen Yun performances have already been sold out in advance, prompting organizers to open additional areas for ticket sales to meet the overwhelming demand.
This marks the second time that Shen Yun Performing Arts will be performing in Bilbao, a city nestled on the northern coast of Spain and the economic center of the Basque Country. Last year’s show was a massive success, with tickets selling out a month ahead of time and drawing accolades from dignitaries and celebrities.
In anticipation of Shen Yun’s upcoming performances, Amaia Martínez Grisaleña, a member of the Basque Country’s regional parliament, penned a heartfelt congratulatory letter expressing her gratitude to the renowned art troupe. In her letter, she commended Shen Yun for their dedication and outstanding achievements, as well as the powerful message they convey to the Spanish people.
Martínez Grisaleña highlighted the importance of preserving traditions and cultures in the face of ideologies like communism, which she likened to a virus that threatens to erode the fabric of society. She praised Shen Yun’s vibrant and meticulous production, noting the emotional impact and beauty of the performance that can only be fully appreciated in person.
The letter concluded with well wishes for Shen Yun’s continued success in Spain, reflecting the anticipation and enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming performances in Bilbao. With the stage set for another unforgettable showcase of dance, music, and history, audiences can look forward to being transported to China and the Orient through the artistry and precision of Shen Yun Performing Arts.
