Marvel has just made an exciting announcement regarding the upcoming film “Fantastic Four.” British actor Ralph Ineson has been cast as the villain Galactus in the new version of the movie. Ineson is best known for his roles as Dagmer Cleftjaw in “Game of Thrones” and Amycus Carrow in “Harry Potter.”
Galactus is a well-known character in the Marvel universe, co-created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The character first appeared in “Fantastic Four #48” in 1966. As a survivor of the previous universe, Galactus is a powerful energy being who must consume planets to survive, making him a major threat to Earth. He is one of the five major gods in the current Marvel universe, alongside Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Annihilation.
The new version of “Fantastic Four” is set to be released on July 25 next year. Alongside Ineson, the film will also star Pedro Pascal as Mr. Marvel, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing.
