Chris Hemsworth will play the main villain in the Mad Max: Fury Road prequel film, Furiosa, opposite Anya Taylor-Joy, who plays the protagonist Furiosa.
Often hero Chris Hemsworth will play the villain this time around in a film based on Kyle Buchanan’s novel Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wilde and True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road, which will be adapted from producer PJ Voeten, PJ Voeten shared on the latest Podcast how Chris Hemsworth was cast, saying: “George[the director]initially saw it as a courtesy, but fell in love with the idea. He’s going to play the main character who is completely different from his previous style. Villains. Unfortunately, we had to find other characters that no longer existed: the new Immortan, the new Bullet Farmer, and so on.”
PJ Voeten’s remarks suggest that Chris Hemsworth will play a very different role from his past, “Furiosa” is expected to be released on May 24, 2024, and interested readers may wish to pay more attention to the relevant news.
