The highly anticipated lineup for the 2024 Coachella music festival has been officially announced, and it promises to be a crowd-pleaser. Goldenvoice, the production company behind the festival, revealed that No Doubt, the popular ska/punk/rock group, will be one of the four headliners for the event. This appearance will mark the first time No Doubt has performed live as a group since 2015 and will include the reunion of its members, including lead singer Gwen Stefani.
In addition to No Doubt, the festival’s lineup will also feature headliners Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and rapper Tyler, The Creator, as well as Peso Pluma, Ice Spice, Blur, Sublime, and Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin.
The announcement of No Doubt’s participation in the festival came shortly after a video was posted on the band’s Twitter account, showing Stefani reminiscing about the early days of the band and culminating in a video call with her bandmates, during which they agreed to perform at Coachella.
No Doubt, known for hits such as “Don’t Speak,” “Just a Girl,” and “Spiderwebs,” had been pursuing solo projects since the early 2000s, with Stefani releasing multiple solo albums. Their upcoming performance at Coachella marks nearly 10 years since the band last toured together.
The Coachella festival will take place over two consecutive weekends, from April 12-14 and April 19-21, at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
Last year’s headliners included Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, Korean pop group Blackpink, and singer Frank Ocean, who had to withdraw from the second weekend due to an injury. This year’s lineup promises to draw large crowds and deliver a diverse set of performances across various music genres.
