Han Ji Min Continues Charity Work Ahead of Children’s Day
Korean actress Han Ji Min has once again shown her generous spirit by donating 50 million won before Children’s Day in Korea. The donation, approximately NT$1.3 million or US$40,000, will be used to help the disadvantaged, particularly hungry children and those in need of educational opportunities.
Han Ji Min, who has been actively participating in donation activities with the United Nations international relief organization “JTS (Join Together Society)” since 2007, has made similar contributions on Children’s Day and at the end of the year for many years. Her agency, BH Entertainment, announced her latest donation on May 3rd.
In addition to her financial contributions, Han Ji Min also actively engages in volunteer work and fundraising events. Despite the cancellation of last year’s Children’s Day event due to heavy rain, she still managed to donate 50 million won through online fundraising efforts. Additionally, she participated in volunteer activities, including carrying coal and helping economically disadvantaged groups pay for heating costs.
Han Ji Min’s dedication to helping those in need has not gone unnoticed. She is set to attend a fundraising event in Seoul on May 4th, reaffirming her commitment to making a positive impact in her community.
It is clear that Han Ji Min’s philanthropic efforts are making a difference in the lives of many, and her continued generosity is truly commendable.
