A Córdoba Control Court sentenced a man to eight years in effective prison after finding him guilty of repeated sexual abuse against a close person.
With the intervention of the 6th Turn Family and Gender Violence Prosecutor, headed by Pablo Cuenca Tagle, Amir Absalon Marcelo Leguizamón was sentenced to eight years in prison (with a declaration of recidivism) for acts of violence of gender occurred at the end of 2022.
From the Public Prosecutor’s Office it was reported that the accused was attributed six acts, two of which were legally classified as sexual abuse with carnal access.
He had been detained on November 23, 2022, and the initial abbreviated trial request was ordered on April 13, 2023, after the collection of probative evidence.
The early termination of the process made it possible to resolve the case within a limited period and prevent re-victimization of the victim, who participated as a private complainant and considered her claim satisfied.
The convict accepted everything.
