The municipality of Neuquén, through the Misdemeanor Court, issued a harsh financial sanction to the bank that owned the warehouse that caught fire on March 25.causing damage to adjacent homes and a school as a result of the structural damage caused. The sum demanded exceeds 7 million pesos.
Specifically, the city government charged three amounts to the Bank of Galicia and Buenos Aires SAU
The first for the article 46 of 1000 modules (UF) equivalent to $128,000, another for article 147 of 50,000 Modules (UF) equivalent to $6,400,000 after considering the entity responsible for faults in articles 46 and 147 of ordinance 12028. And the last sum of $652,800, for administrative expenses. In total the sum is $7,180,800.
Payments must be made within ten days from that the sanction of the Municipal Misdemeanor Court No. 2 was firm by Judge Romina Doglioli.
As complementary measures, it was requested “maintain the closure” of the property at 1063 Bahía Blanca Street, as well as its rear part on Tierra del Fuego Street, in order to “avoid damage to neighboring property and third parties,” the court detailed.
It was also resolved indefraud the banking entity by appearing as the registered owner of the property to take the necessary security measures on neighboring houses and affected third parties, must present a remediation plan for the building to the Misdemeanor Court in order to ensure that the current state results in non-compliance with the law.
