Now, it is the actor couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski who are in the media spotlight after a video of them during the event came to light. In this, apparently, they would be discussing the possibility of getting a divorce.
The video shows Emily and John on the red carpet at the awards show wearing a gold Alexander McQueen dress and a tuxedo with a bright red jacket respectively. While they tried to keep up appearances before the international press with broad smiles, Krasinski, according to lip reading experts, reportedly told his wife “I can’t wait to get divorced… I’m serious.”

This is not the only theory circulating on the internet about the conversation between John and Emily. Other TikTok users claim that what Krasinski really said was “I can’t wait until we’re inside,” due to the strong wind that was in Los Angeles that afternoon and that even made Selena Gomez recreate the historic photo of Marilyn Monroe at the gala. John is also believed to have said, “I can’t wait to get this over with,” referring to how exhausting a gala like the Golden Globes can be.
Emily and John began dating in 2008, shortly after the actress split from Michael Bublé. The couple got engaged the following year and in 2010 they married, with their children Hazel (born in 2014) and Violet (born in 2016) being the fruit of that relationship. Throughout these 15 years together, the couple has been very careful not to show any type of tension or quarrel, so the idea of a divorce would be a huge surprise for the Hollywood industry.
And if the divorce rumors were not enough, Blunt once again starred in a moment that many could consider uncomfortable, now at the Governor Awards where the actress wore a black dress with a “V” neck from the Miu Miu brand combined with silver jewelry by Tiffany. Although no specialized fashion media questioned how good Emily looked, comparisons immediately appeared with Margot Robbie, who arrived at the gala wearing a dress very similar to Blunt’s. Robbie put aside her Barbie-inspired wardrobe and appeared at the award ceremony in a black dress from the French brand Celine that was also characterized by a “V” neckline, also featuring small slits at the waist. Although it was not an identical dress, it did generate several comments on social media claiming that both celebrities must have returned home very upset.
