LEATHER LUNG unveil the stirring video clip ‘Empty Bottle Boogie’ as the next single from their upcoming new album ‘Graveside Grin’. The Boston, Massachusetts-based quintet’s first album is expected to be released on March 15, 2024.
EATHER LUNG comment: “Do you know the feeling when the DJ plays your song, you down your drink and go to the dance floor?” asks singer Mike rhetorically. “That’s what we wanted to capture with ‘Empty Bottle Boogie.’ This song is an invitation to let it all out. He delivers boot-stomping, hip-swinging, fist-swinging energy from start to finish. We write music in the context of movement and this track should shake the boards.”

LEATHER LUNG are a wild bunch who know the meaning of fun. This is hardly surprising, as the band was formed in 2012 out of a friendship and the Boston punk and hardcore scene. Starting as a four-piece, they quickly gained an excellent reputation in the local scene as well as plenty of critical attention through a series of EPs, starting with “Reap What You Sow” (2014) and followed at regular intervals by “Lost in Temptation” (2016). , “Lonesome, On’ry and Evil” (2019), and “Dive Bar Devil” (2022).
“Dive Bar Devil” is also the name of LEATHER LUNG’s own brand of lager, which is already sold out and has been brewed several times. One can speculate that this is the liquid that comes from the can that the band’s Green Lady mascot powerfully opens on each of their record covers in the artwork for “Graveside Grin.”
With a second guitarist, LEATHER LUNG are now a five-piece and ready to conquer the world. After stunning live performances at DesertFest New York and Psycho Las Vegas, the band returns with “Graveside Grin” – a clear sign that these Boston freaks are ready to hit the road and ready to get the worldwide party started.
