LEGO Pays Tribute to Paris with New Building Block Sets
LEGO has once again impressed fans with the release of two new building block sets, honoring the cultural heritage of Paris. The first set, part of the Art series, features a portrait of the famous “Mona Lisa” crafted from 1,503 building blocks. The set faithfully reproduces the original colors used by Leonardo da Vinci and includes a detachable gold paint frame, allowing for the finished product to be hung on a wall.
The second set, part of the Architecture series, showcases the iconic Notre Dame de Paris cathedral. Built using 4,383 bricks, the set illustrates the architectural evolution of the cathedral from its construction in 1163 to its redesign in the 19th century by Viollet-le-Duc, as well as its appearance following the 2019 fire. The set includes a removable roof, offering a peek at interior details such as rose windows and Gothic arches.
Both sets are now available for pre-order on the LEGO official website. The “Mona Lisa” set is priced at US$100 and is set to be released on October 1st, while the Notre Dame de Paris set is priced at US$230 and will be released on June 1st. Fans and collectors alike are encouraged to keep an eye out for these unique and culturally significant LEGO sets.
