Luigi Fassi is the new director of Artissima Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea for the three-year period 2022-2024. He was appointed by the board of directors of the Torino Musei Foundation, after the international call. He replaces Ilaria Bonacossa who drove Artissima for 5 years. «The board has identified in Luigi Fassi’s profile the suitable candidate to lead Artissima, both from a professional point of view and for the project presented. Luigi Fassi, from 2018 to 2022 artistic director of the MAan Art Museum of the Province of Nuoro, has gained prestigious curatorial experiences in Italy and abroad and has been. He worked in Turin as curator of the Present Future section of Artissima and spent periods of study and work in various parts of the world, from New York to Tel Aviv and Austria. He was co-curator of the Curated_by Festival in Vienna in Austria and of the XVI edition of the Quadrennial of Art in Rome.
