Madonna Demands Respect: Upset Over Air Conditioning at Miami Concert

Madonna Upset with Stadium Staff for Keeping Air Conditioning on During Miami Concert

During her recent concert at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Madonna was involved in a tense moment when she stopped her performance to reproach the venue staff for keeping the air conditioning on. The incident occurred in the midst of technical problems that increased her frustration, leading her to demand respect from the production team.

In a video broadcast on social media, Madonna can be heard saying, “I have been waiting a long time for this damn show. I’m working very hard, I deserve it. Respect me. The show won’t go on until they respect me.” She also expressed her disappointment with the lack of concern for her health, especially after a severe infection she suffered in 2023.

The incident is related to Madonna’s known opposition to the use of air conditioning during her concerts, as she believes it affects her voice. Despite her insistence on keeping the air conditioning off, some attendees reported high temperatures inside the venue, causing discomfort among the public.

This is not the artist’s first confrontation with the issue in Miami. Madonna had previously angered the Miami public due to her refusal to turn on the air conditioning at her shows. In response to the public’s demands, Madonna thanked those who respected her request not to use the air conditioning during her last performance in Miami.

Madonna’s decision regarding air conditioning and the late start times of her shows have caused controversy, including a class-action lawsuit by two concertgoers who allege legal damages for the delay in the start and end of one of her shows. Despite the setbacks, fans can still purchase tickets to her upcoming shows in cities such as Austin and Mexico City before her concert in Rio de Janeiro on May 4.
