Martinez said Figueroa is “obsequent” with Milei

The provincial deputy of Unión por la Patria, Darío Martínezhe responded to the governor Rolando Figueroa who questioned his performance as Secretary of Energy of the Nation, during the presidency of Alberto Fernández. He assured that the president: “He will not be able to hide his obsequent support for the adjustment that Milei makes to the people of Neuquén.”

Figueroa criticized the legislator during a public event this week, presenting plans to relaunch housing construction and financing. On that occasion he said that there are leaders who put “spoke in the wheel” and that when it was their turn to be civil servants they did “all wrong”.

“When we took over in the middle of the pandemic, gas production was declining at 8% annually, oil production was stagnant at very low levels, Vaca Muerta was paralyzed without activity, unemployment and suspensions reached tens of thousands, and Neuquén SMEs were in a desperate state,” said Martínez. He added that “that’s how dire the situation was, but with work, correct policies and decisions we absolutely reversed it.”

He stated: “we launched the Gas.Ar Plan, we decided to promote the Duplicar plus and OTASA pipelines, and the construction of the Néstor Kirchner Gasduct, to name only the most relevant for Neuquén.”

He argued that the governor: “gives Neuquén to Milei, supporting the DNU and the Milei Bases Law”. And he remarked: “these are the main tools that Milei uses for this direct robbery of the pockets of the Neuquéns, and Figueroa endorses it in silence and ordering his deputies to vote disciplinedly.”

After these statements, which he also shared on social networks, the one who responded was the current undersecretary of Copade, Ana Servidio. “Your role is sad, Dario. Afternoon you remembered the people of Neuquén, and look that you had possibilities… you troskeas because it is the easy one to always be functional, carry water for your mill and leave colleagues and the people of Neuquén in garpe,” she wrote.

Servidio is part of the group of Peronist militants who worked in Figueroa’s campaign and today hold public office.
