A bloody shot caused a shockwave among the fans of the VTM series. Will Benny pay for his heroic act with death?
It was all thriller, that midseason finale of Family. This resulted in a major confrontation between five characters. Daniël (Pepijn Huysmans), the fraudster who used Jamila (Jools Janssens) as a money mule and thus passed on crime money, realized that it was getting too hot under his feet. After all, Jelle (Maarten Cop), whom he had involved in his plans, had gone to the police to save his own skin. But the plan that Jelle had come up with with Inspector Kennis (Maureen Vanherberghen) was a major flop.

Samira (Belinda Voorspoels) realized that her daughter was in danger and rushed to Jamila with Benny (Roel Vanderstuks). In this way, they unintentionally ended up in the middle of the police operation. Daniel held Jamila at gunpoint, but Benny took the bullet. With all its consequences. Whether Vanderstuk’s character will survive will not be known until next week.

Despite all the action, there was also room for a dash of romance. Louise (Charlotte Sieben) and Brahim (Amine Boujouh) danced a passionate tango, and after weeks of not quite having it, a kiss finally followed. One time or more? To be continued.
