Music producer Raphy Pina has made headlines with his recent release from prison. Pina, who was serving time for illegal possession of weapons in North Carolina, was reportedly set to be released on May 24th. However, according to reports from the Puerto Rican program ‘Lo Sé Todo’, Pina was actually released ahead of schedule on May 8th and transferred to Miami.
Presenter Fernan Vélez revealed that Pina’s family traveled to North Carolina to pick him up, and federal records confirmed his release from the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner. Pina-Nieves is now officially out of custody and starting a new chapter in Miami.
It is reported that Pina has been transferred to “Miami half houses”, which are community facilities that assist individuals with criminal records in reintegrating into society. Pina will work and be evaluated during the week, with the possibility of spending weekends with his fiancée Natti Natasha and her daughter Vida Isabelle.
