It is reported that the seventh season of “Grimm’s Fairy Tale Night” continues the previous ten classic theme venues such as Rose Castle, Grimm Theatre, Star Cinema, and Crystal Stage. According to the original Grimm’s fairy tale books, the characters and fairy tale scenes are restored in 3D. Music, performance and other elements are integrated, leading parents and children to experience a different “library night” in an “immersive” way.

In May of this year, the seventh season of “Nights of Grimm’s Fairy Tales” walked out of Chongqing Library and into Beibei District. This is another attempt of Chongqing Library’s national reading brand regional cooperation. Chongqing Library focuses on cultural empowerment, innovation and integration ideas, with high-quality content production and cultural services as the core, giving full play to the advantages of cultural brands, and boosting the integration of culture and tourism. Mr. Yang Wuneng, the translator of “Grimm’s Fairy Tales”, is an authentic Chongqing native. In 2015, Mr. Yang Wuneng donated many of his translated works, manuscripts, letters and other precious materials to the Chongqing Library. The Chongqing Library specially set up a “library within the library” – the Bashu Translation Library, which is responsible for collecting, sorting and displaying. “Night of Grimm’s Fairy Tales” is to promote this precious and characteristic collection of Chongqing Library to readers, and to restore the fairy tale dream in the book for readers.
