NTDTV Holds International Cultural Events Featuring Traditional Chinese Arts

NTDTV, the largest overseas Chinese-language TV station, is set to launch three international competitions this year as part of its efforts to provide a platform for artists worldwide, especially Chinese artists, to showcase their talents and promote traditional culture.

The first competition is the “2024 New Tang Dynasty Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Competition,” aiming to promote the spirit of traditional martial arts and revive Chinese divine culture. The competition will have preliminary rounds in Germany, Taiwan, and New York, with semi-finals and finals in Upstate Midtown, New York on August 24 and 25, 2024. Contestants are required to adhere to specific rules, and details can be found on the competition’s website.

The second competition is “The 9th World Chinese Bel Canto Vocal Competition,” which aims to promote orthodox vocal art and help Chinese vocalists worldwide enter the world stage. The competition will take place in Manhattan, New York from September 18 to 21, 2024, with judges from Shen Yun Performing Arts. Interested contestants can find more information on the competition’s website.

Lastly, the “2024 NTDTV 7th International Piano Competition” aims to promote the art of piano music from various periods and inherit the 250-year-old piano literature heritage. Contestants will be required to recite and play a designated piece in the semi-finals, with the chance to win a special award. The competition judges are senior pianists and educators.

All three competitions will be broadcast live through the Epoch Times Media Group’s global network and New Tang Dynasty Television. For more information on each competition and how to participate, visit their respective websites.
