ROMA – The appointment is set for mid-October, precisely on the days 15,16 and 17, but already now the organizing machine is running at full speed. After all, it is not a trivial matter to set up an event that claims to become the reference point of the off-road world from the very first edition. And among other things in Versilia, Massarosa and Viareggio, in the same area where the historic Carrara 4x4Fest has been organized for 20 years. The program will be very rich, the organizers promise, and the ace in the hole will also be totally free entry.
The project, which was born by the will of the Italian Federation, obviously also has a name: Off-road International Fair. “The time is now ripe to offer the whole world of European off-roading a unique event of its kind, combining the great experience in the sector of the Italian Off-road Federation with a territory capable of offering incredible naturalistic values together with truly exclusive opportunities”, explains the President of the Marco Pacini Federation. “The off-road vehicle will be presented to the general public and enthusiasts in all its forms and declinations”.
The event will take place around two areas, called Experience and Expo. The latter will be entirely in Viareggio, in Viale Europa, where the stands of the various brands will be set up. In Massarosa, on the other hand, the Experience area will be set up, the most fun for visitors. In fact, it is here that the test drives will take place on off-road routes set up for the occasion, with two levels of difficulty depending on the driver’s experience. “We are proud to host this event that will make Massarosa the capital of the off road. – comments Mayor Alberto Coluccini – it is an international event that will bring a large flow of tourists and enthusiasts and we are ready to welcome them with our cultural and naturalistic excellence, between the lake, hills and villages “.
