The orchestra of salsero Michel ‘El Buenón’ was forced to abandon him in the middle of his performance at the Teatro La Fiesta of the Jaragua Hotel. The singer, who was part of the La Sonora Ponceña concert, exceeded his scheduled performance time by more than 40 minutes, ultimately leading the production to ask him to give up the stage.
Despite singing a mix of salsa, ballads, songs in English, and bolero, Michel’s extended performance time limited the participation of La Sonora Ponceña, the main attraction of the event. This incident occurred during a concert produced by Amable Valenzuela at the Teatro La Fiesta.
As a result, the orchestra members had no choice but to leave the stage, leaving Michel ‘El Buenón’ to carry on solo. This unexpected turn of events surely left audience members and organizers alike surprised and disappointed.
