SARFT’s 2023 Excellent Domestic Documentary Selection Released

Tonight’s News (Reporter Liu Guifang) The State Administration of Radio and Television recently released the “Selection of Excellent Domestic Documentaries”, with 6 dramas selected as “Revisiting Classics” and 27 dramas selected as “Selected Documentaries”. The historical and humanistic documentary “Jinmen Past” produced by the Propaganda Department of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and jointly produced by Tianjin Haihe Media Center and Tianjin Huaguang Documentary Film and Television Media Co., Ltd. was selected.
In the “Selection of Excellent Domestic Documentaries” released this time, 27 documentary works produced in Tianjin, including “Once Upon a Time in Tianjin”, “Ding Fengbo”, “Chinese”, “Golden Monkey Kingdom: The World of the Brave” and “Intelligent Era”, were selected as “Documentary Essence” select”.
The documentary “Tianjin Past” takes the vertical line of history as the longitude, the social profile as the latitude, and interweaves real stories. Through small cuts and large themes, it selects 10 historical events that happened in Tianjin and had great influence, using a large number of historical details and little-known stories, tells the magnificent historical picture of the Chinese people’s efforts to save the nation and pursue national rejuvenation from 1840 to 1949. The film is a key project of Tianjin’s literary and artistic creation project. It aims to explore Tianjin’s rich historical and cultural resources, look at the changes in modern China from the history of a city, and tell the exploration of Chinese modernization from Tianjin.
