Ethnic films are treasures of Chinese film galleries. Rao Shuguang, president of the China Film Critic Society, said that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Chinese filmmakers have forged ahead in the tide of industrial development and made great efforts to create many excellent minority-themed films. Artistic techniques and rich national culture attract audiences, and have made some achievements in major film festivals at home and abroad.

From more than 300 films, this year’s film exhibition carefully selected “Jumei in the Sky”, “It’s Another Year on March 3rd”, “The Son of Red, Going to the Meeting”, “The Gas Station in the Sky”, “Liu Sanjie”, “Blowing With the Wind” and “Mother’s Love”. 10 classic national films including “Airport”, “All Animism”, “Wings of Singing” and “Kashgar Guli” participated in the screening, including classic works shot in the 1960s and 1970s, as well as masterpieces created since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It focuses on the unique ethnic stories of the Zhuang, Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, Miao, Dai and other ethnic minorities, showing the audience the colorful national film culture and the era of unity and progress of the children of all ethnic groups to the audience. These 10 films were screened in turn in several cinemas in Nanning from June 29 to July 3, attracting many fans to watch the film.
