MILANO – After the test in Belgium, Stellantis chooses SelliWay for the sale of used cars exclusively online. An interface integrated in the bee2link solution for second-hand vehicles that allows you to eliminate any contact in presence: a solution that allows you to follow the entire process online only, from trade-in to electronic payment, up to delivery of the vehicle. And the model, tested in Belgium from December 2020 to April 2021. During the trial, 10% of total sales were made through SelliWay without requiring the physical presence of the customer.
Charles Clausse, Stellantis Uv director Owned Retail, underlines that “the adoption of SelliWay represents an important step in our strategy of developing e-commerce in the used vehicle sector. In addition to the traditional dealer buying and selling process, which will continue to remain attractive, this new solution demonstrates the will to offer our customers a simple and complete online shopping experience, as well as interactive and easy to use ”. Starting from the first contact via the web with the sales agent, the customer is guided step by step through the fundamental moments of the purchase process: from the appraisal and evaluation in the event of an exchange, to the real-time presentation of the used vehicle in the national stock. The new e-commerce solution for second-hand cars will be introduced in all European subsidiaries of the Stellantis Owned Retail group. In 2021, the system will be launched at full capacity in Belgium, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal. In 2022 it will be the turn of Germany, Austria and Poland.
