The former Minister of Economy and presidential candidate, Sergio Masa, returned to the public stage this Saturday, after the criticism made by the president Javier Milei during the opening of ordinary sessions in Congress.
It was for a event in the Buenos Aires city of Roque Pérezwhere he led a meeting of the Renewal Front (FR) of the province of Buenos Aires.
The objective of the meeting was to establish a position regarding the policies of the Milei government. Furthermore, in the previous one, a response was expected to the criticism made by the head of state for the “inheritance” received.
Although no public expressions were made by the former president of Unión por la Patria, sources cited by TN mentioned that, at the meeting, they discussed the agenda of the Renovador Front and proposals to defend the middle class.
Massa’s reappearance occurred after Milei told him on Friday night, during his speech before the Legislative Assembly. qualified as a “rider of failure” along with other leaders such as Juan Grabois, Máximo Kirchner and Pablo Moyano and mentioned Cristina Fernández de Kirchner as the “responsible for one of the worst governments in history.”
The meeting of the Renovador Front was, in principle, scheduled for last Saturday but was finally confirmed for this noon, in a context altered by the relationship between the massist legislators and the Buenos Aires governor Axel Kicillof due to the situation of the provincial social work IOMA .
In the meeting, Massa is expected to make “a strong message in defense of the middle class,” according to what they said from those around them.
In the city in the interior of Buenos Aires, whose mayor is the Massista Maximiliano Sciaini, they also participated in the meeting national and provincial deputies and 20 mayors of the Renewal Front of that district.
