Exciting news for fans of the popular dark fantasy mystery action game “Super Detective Casebook Kirisame Mystery Palace Plus” as Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. has officially announced the release date for the enhanced version of the game. Set to be launched on July 18, 2024, this new version will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox X|S, and Steam platforms.
The game follows the story of Yoma = Cocohado, a trainee detective who has lost his memory and is joined by the enigmatic “Little Death” in solving mysteries in the perpetual rain of the city’s “Kanai District”. The original version of the game was released on the Nintendo Switch platform in June 2023 and has been widely praised by players.
The enhanced version, “Super Detective Casebook Kirisame Mystery Palace Plus,” will build upon the success of the original game by adding new elements and performance enhancements. It will support 4K resolution images, significantly shorten loading times, and include five additional side stories that were previously launched on the Nintendo Switch platform.
Players who pre-order the physical Chinese version of the game for PlayStation®5 will receive a special bonus booklet featuring a brand new novel titled “How to Become a Super Detective Herara = Nedmea.” This novel, supervised by game scriptwriter Kazugo Kodaka, delves into the past story of one of the game’s characters, offering players a deeper insight into the game’s world.
In addition to the enhanced version, a digital deluxe Chinese version of “Super Detective Casebook Kirisame Mystery Palace Plus” will also be released, featuring additional content such as a digital art set collection and a digital game soundtrack.
