Shen Yun’s Performance in Japan Leaves Tai Chi Masters Amazed
The American Shen Yun New York Performing Arts Troupe’s performances at the Kobe Cultural Hall in Japan have been sold out for several days. On the afternoon of February 12, a couple, senior Tai Chi masters, were amazed after watching Shen Yun’s performance and said they saw supreme golden words in the lyrics.
Miwa Koji, a senior Tai Chi master, expressed his amazement at the performance, saying, “First of all, I saw Falun Gong books at the door, and asked if it had something to do with the performance? In the last program, the Creator appeared. The lyrics of the Creator say, ‘It is not difficult to save people.’ It’s so well said. I haven’t read the book yet, so I don’t know the connection. But this quote is really supreme and the best.”
Miwa Koji and his wife, Miwa Yuri, who is also a senior Tai Chi master, both found the performance to be moving and impressive. Miwa Koji, who has obtained the highest level recognized by the country, was touched by the connection between Chinese classical dance and Chinese martial arts, saying, “I am also practicing Tai Chi. Actress Wang Chen, when she changes posture from this position, she first relaxes her shoulders and then starts to change. It is really relaxing! I was moved by this movement, it is really soothing. It’s not straight forward, but first like this, and then like this. I was deeply moved when I saw this action today.”
The couple also praised the portrayal of characters and the overall concept of the performance. Miwa Yuri expressed, “Gods and Buddhas descend from heaven to guide us. If we respond and can do what the gods and Buddhas want, how great would it be? If we can do it, how great would it be!”
The performances left the Tai Chi masters deeply moved and full of praise for the rich spiritual world of the artists and the ignited hearts of hope. Both of them agreed that Shen Yun is indeed a performance that integrates the body and mind, leaving them feeling extremely excited.
