While part of the family of the 13-year-old boy who was found dead days ago in a freezer of a house in the Panamericano neighborhood of Córdoba Capital, demands that the case be framed as a homicide and points against a member of the family group itself; Criminal justice is going in another direction.

The central hypothesis is that of a dramatic domestic accident.

Prosecutor Claudia Palacios and her team of investigators are already aware of an initial forensic report that indicates that the boy died from electrocution and did not present other injuries compatible with blows or a personal or other attack, according to sources confided to La Voz. qualified with access to the file.

In any case, the official is awaiting a series of complementary forensic studies by experts from the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

These studies are intended to detect or rule out the presence of drugs or other substances in the victim’s body. These are routine studies that are usually done in cases of deaths that are presented as having a doubtful etiology.

The fact that the prosecutor is already aware of a report that indicates that the boy died from electrocution inside the freezer does not mean that the case is over. Absolutely.

According to reports, the investigation continues: investigators continue taking testimonies and carrying out various investigations, the details of which cannot be provided precisely so as not to hinder the case.

“That poor boy’s family has been divided and from one sector they are targeting another… There are strange and particular things and situations in that family group that must be investigated. In any case, there is an autopsy and a study that indicates that that poor boy died after receiving a shock of electricity when he got into that device. Despite certain circumstances that must be investigated in that family, based on crossed accusations, there is nothing to suggest that it was not an accident…”, confided a qualified source who requested confidentiality.

Another source with access to the investigation said that the boy died dressed after entering that device that was plugged in and, in that context, he received a powerful shock that ended up causing his death.

That spokesperson confirmed that the body does not present injuries compatible with blows or other types of attacks.

The informant stressed that, beyond these forensic studies, the judicial police investigation continues and has not yet been closed. As stated, complementary reports are awaited.

The main hypothesis for one week is oriented towards an accidental event, very far from a malicious episode. However, we have to wait.

“The main hypothesis is that it was an accident. In any case, you have to investigate thoroughly and be extremely careful. There is a family that is broken and here we have a poor boy who died in a dramatic way,” a high judicial source told La Voz.

Lawyer Carlos Nayi represents the mother of the deceased teenager. “Her mother and grandmother say that this was not a prank, that they killed Thiago and tried a series of strange circumstances that do not fit an accident,” said the lawyer, in statements made to the press.

Along these lines, the mother pointed out an in-law and linked him to the drama that occurred. This person has not yet provided her version.

The horror occurred in a house on 28 de Julio Street in the Panamericano neighborhood, in the northern area of ​​Córdoba capital. On March 20, her mother found her only son dead in the freezer of the house. He was dressed and in the fetal position.

As if the drama wasn’t enough for that family, a grandmother collapsed and died of a heart attack.
