Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock Express Desire to Co-Star Again After Nearly 30 Years
Hollywood superstars Keanu Reeves, 59, and Sandra Bullock, also 59, recently made headlines as they expressed their desire to co-star in another movie for their fans. The duo, who first shared the screen in “The Guardians” almost three decades ago, have remained close friends over the years.
In a recent interview on the “50 MPH” radio program, Sandra fondly recalled her time playing “Annie Potter” in “The Guardians”. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside Keanu, whom she admired then and continues to admire now.
Their relationship took a romantic turn as Sandra revealed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that she had a crush on Keanu during the filming of “The Men”. This confession was reciprocated by Keanu on the same show, sparking rumors of a missed opportunity for romance between the two.
Despite Keanu’s current relationship with artist girlfriend Alexandra Grant, fans have expressed concerns about the impact on his friendship with Sandra. However, the pair reassured fans that they plan to collaborate on another project in the future to satisfy their expectations.
“When discussing when the two will share the screen again in ‘The Last Stand’, there is no certain formula for how to do it,” Sandra remarked. “Maybe we are in a wheelchair or using a walker, or maybe we are riding a scooter in Disneyland!”
Although Keanu did not reprise his role in “Speed 2: Cruise Control” alongside Sandra, he expressed a feeling of unfinished business between them. “It does feel like a siren call. On the call, it’s like something’s not done yet and hopefully we can work together again before we close our eyes,” Keanu shared.
