A macabre crime took place this Friday in the Buenos Aires town of Don Torcuato. A young man who sold dollars through social networks was found murdered, tied up and with signs of asphyxiation in a rental apartment belonging to a club.

He had been summoned by three alleged buyers to carry out the transaction.

The incident occurred in a property rented for tourists, belonging to the Hindú Club, located on the corner of Ángel T. de Alvear and Golf avenues, in said town in the district of Tigre, in the northern area of ​​Greater Buenos Aires, and the victim was identified by the Police as Germán Salemi (25).

According to what police spokespersons told Télam, a call to 911 alerted the authorities. Police personnel went to the scene and upon entering one of the apartments they found Salemi’s body, which was tied up and showing signs of asphyxiation.

The police immediately began actions and according to the first investigations carried out, they determined that the young man was dedicated to selling dollars, which he offered online.

In this context, he was summoned to that department of the Hindu Club by three alleged buyers who had rented the property.

Police sources reported that, for reasons that are being investigated, Salemi was murdered at the time of completing the transaction.

As a result, investigators surveyed the security cameras located in the area with the aim of identifying the murderers and being able to capture the subsequent escape from the scene.

The prosecutor Virginia Toso, in charge of the decentralized Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 1 of Don Torcuato, intervenes in the case, who ordered the transfer of the body to the judicial morgue to perform the corresponding autopsy.

The Hindu Club was founded in 1919, has 2,000 members and is federated in the sports of rugby, hockey, golf, soccer and tennis.

The club also offers the possibility of holding corporate and sporting events, in addition to functioning as a training center, used on different occasions by teams such as River Plate.
