Tom Waes (55) no longer keeps his new girlfriend Charlotte Vranken (35) a secret. They appeared together in public for the first time at the Kastaars, and in ‘Bye Everyone’ he now also talks candidly about his relationship.

“I am very happy with Charlotte,” says Tom. “She is a super nice, cool and smart lady. Charlotte doesn’t have a TV at home. When we met, she knew who I was, but she wasn’t really impressed. That attracted me to her even more. She didn’t know ‘Kamp Waes’ either.”

Tom Waes also spoke briefly about the sailboat he bought and how he will often be away from home. “Charlotte will often miss me when I go sailing, but as a doctor of chemistry she also travels around the world to visit pharmaceutical companies and attend conferences. So she knows the ropes. Maybe we should just take a sailing course together.”
