Vince McMahon Resigns from Executive Position at TKO Group Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations
Vince McMahon, who retired from WWE in July 2022, has resigned from his position as executive president of TKO Group, a sports and entertainment company that includes the UFC, after being sued for sexual misconduct by a former WWE employee.
The lawsuit was filed by Janel Grant, who alleges that McMahon forced her to have sexual relations to keep her position while working at WWE. Additionally, Grant claims that McMahon distributed intimate photos of her to other individuals, some of whom were employees of the company.
In response to the allegations, McMahon has stated that the lawsuit is “full of lies” and includes events that “never happened.” Despite this, he has decided to resign from his position at TKO Group “out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO, and its leadership.”
The resignation comes as a shock to many, as McMahon has been a prominent figure in the world of professional wrestling and entertainment for decades. It remains to be seen how these allegations will impact his legacy and the future of the companies he has been associated with.
