Without the presence of the national state for the first time in almost fifty years, with Lisbon as the guest city and with the opening by Liliana Heker, the 48th Buenos Aires International Book Fair opened its doors on April 25 to offer a wide variety of activities until May 13.
The Buenos Aires Book Fair, one of the most important conventions in the field of Latin American literature, takes place as always at La Rural, located at Avenida Santa Fe 4201, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

14:30: Tribute to Bioy Casares. Screening of a video tribute to the writer and presentation of the latest books published within the framework of the “Adolfo Bioy Casares” National Short Story and Poetry Contest, organized by the Municipality of Las Flores. Room: Rodolfo Walsh.
17:30: «Dialogue with Zhao Si, contemporary Chinese poet». This is an interview with the Chinese poet and academic Zhao Si, commenting on her work, which has just been partially published in Spanish, to present it to the public in Buenos Aires, a city she is visiting for the first time. Admission from Monday to Thursday (except Wednesday, May 1) has a value of $3,500 (three thousand five hundred pesos), and on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: $5,000. Children under 12, teachers, students and retirees have free entry as long as they present the certificate proving that condition.
Days and times: from 2 to 10 p.m. It is the usual schedule from Monday to Friday; On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, it will open one hour earlier.
Discounts: Each ticket is accompanied by discount vouchers for the same value for the purchase of books at the Rural stands.
