[Voice of Hope, April 29, 2022](Comprehensive report by our reporter Zhang Lili)On April 27th, Hong Kong artist Zeng Jiang, who became well-known for playing Huang Yaoshi in the 1983 version of “The Legend of the Condor Heroes”, died suddenly in a quarantined hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui at the age of 87. The cause of Zeng Jiang’s death is still to be ascertained. After the news came out, the entertainment industry was shocked.

According to Hong Kong media reports, Zeng Jiang recently traveled to Malaysia and Singapore. After returning to Hong Kong on April 25, he stayed at the Kowloon Hotel for isolation. On April 26, he tested negative for the new coronavirus, and his body was normal. But at noon on April 27, hotel staff found him in a coma. When police and ambulance crews arrived, he had died, but the cause of death was unknown.

Zeng Jiang also posted a video on Douyin on the 18th, saying that he went to Malaysia alone. In the film, he is wearing a white T-shirt and sunglasses. Although he has white hair and a thin figure, he looks good and energetic. He wrote below the video: “When I have time, I shoot and do what I like. I like new things. After graduation, Zeng Jiang returned to Hong Kong and returned to the entertainment industry. Because he speaks fluent English, Zeng Jiang has also appeared in many Hollywood movies. In 2015, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards for “Eavesdropping 3”.
