After three years, the wait is over for the fans of Zayn Malik (31). His brand new album will be released on May 17.

The former One Direction member suddenly appeared during The Tonight Show at Jimmy Fallon’s, where he mysteriously played his new single What I am. Then Malik sneaked away again, but not before pushing a piece of paper into Kimmel’s hands with the words “Jimmy, look at your right side for my album.” Where there was actually a plate. He later confirmed the news on Instagram: Room under the stairs will be released on May 17. The single What I am will be released this Friday. (Read more below the Instagram post)

For Malik it is his fourth studio album. Nobody is listening dates back to January 2021. According to fans, his comeback has been coming for a while. He did a short Instagram live from what appeared to be the recording studio, including what appeared to be snippets of two different songs. He then cleared his Instagram completely, chose a new profile photo and started teasing the release.(eadp)
