On the canal YouTube “That Racing Channel“, the story of a car that was nothing short of amazing was told, which immediately sent the fans into raptures. We are talking about a BMW M2 equipped with a 6-cylinder in-line engine, with a maximum power of 1,500 horsepower. Obviously, it is not a production car, but one which has undergone painstaking development, and which is now ready to make the hearts of enthusiasts beat.

This is, in particular, an M240i xDrive, which from an aesthetic point of view is not too different from the standard version. Let’s just find some changes that it made the setup even lower and more extreme, in search of maximum downforce, to which is added a set of tires that seek the highest possible grip. The shapes, however, make us understand that the development has been clear.
Under the hood, we find a deeply revised version of the original B58 3.0-litre inline-6 engine, which was equipped with new camshafts, ported head, a new fuel system and a 74mm Precision turbocharger, which comes into action with 22 kg of pressure. Nothing changes on the traction front, which remains all-wheel drive, while the automatic transmission has changed in every way.
It was in fact replaced with an 8-speed unit, made by Pure Drivetrain Solutions. Reinforced axles and a new carbon crankshaft also arrive. They were introduced to better manage the monstrous daughter couple of these changeswhich made it the most powerful BMW in history, with a killer sound that you can appreciate in these shots.
As for the interior, we find few changes, but if we really want to find a flaw, it lies in the weight, which goes hand in hand with horses and which reaches 1,593 kg, certainly an unfavorable figure. For the rest, the maximum speed rises to 288 km/h, with a sprint that covers the quarter mile in just 7.9 seconds. Certainly, we are faced with an absolute masterpiece of tuning.
