Modena Organizations Join Forces for Humanitarian Mission to Ukraine
A new humanitarian mission from Modena to Ukraine is currently underway, marking the fifth mission for the Porta Aperta association and the eighth for Hesperia Bimbi ets. These two entities from Modena have joined forces this time to bring much-needed aid to those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The mission, taking place from March 21 to 24, 2024, will focus on setting up two mobile dental practices for children and individuals in need of dental care. Two vehicles, one provided by Porta Aperta and another by Hesperia Bimbi, will transport dental chairs equipped with all necessary supplies donated by Hesperia Bimbi and collected medicines from the Center for the Health of Migrants and homeless of Open Door.
This collaborative effort aims to provide essential medical and dental assistance to those impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. The organizations involved are committed to supporting the well-being of the affected population and ensuring they have access to the care they urgently need.
As the mission kicks off, volunteers from both organizations are working tirelessly to set up the mobile dental practices and begin providing services to those in need.
