A truck driver lost his life this morning in an accident on the A21 in Piacenza, south lane, at the entrance to the Nure service area. The vehicle, loaded with paracetic acid, hit a car with three people on board. The driver of the truck died instantly, while the three were intoxicated and were transported to Piacenza hospital together with four other people who had helped them get out of the passenger compartment. Seven people were intoxicated in total, none in danger of their lives. 118 vehicles, the air ambulance and the fire brigade teams were on site. The service area was closed by the Cremona traffic police.
