Admissions down for the fourth week in a row - Healthcare

In one week, the number of Covid hospitalizations fell by 12%. It emerges from the survey of 22 February in the sentinel hospitals of the Fiaso network (Italian Federation of Healthcare and Hospitals). In the ordinary wards the decrease is 12.6%, while in intensive care, where there was a significant reduction of 25% a week ago, the decline was much smaller, equal to 3.8%. In northern hospitals, hospitalizations, both in ordinary wards and in intensive care units, decreased by 14%; in the structures of the Center they fell by 10% while in the South and in the islands the number of patients decreased by 12%.
