About 800,000 minors and 2,600,000 over 65 are at risk of alcohol-related diseases and problems including those affecting the liver. It is the direct consequence of the fact that, precisely at the two extremes of the ages of life, there is an increase in alcohol consumption. After the presentation of the latest Istat data in the Report to Parliament on alcohol, the topic is also one of the most discussed during the 54th National Congress of the Aisf (Italian Association for the Study of the Liver).
