At the Computex 2021 conference held online at the beginning of this month, AMD stated that the upcoming Radeon Software Adrenalin driver will bring more new features to Radeon graphics cards. Today’s latest Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.6.1 version is also on AMD’s official website. It is open to players to download. The new version adds support for the Radeon RX 6800M mobile graphics card. However, AMD has also cleaned up in Radeon 21.6.1 and no longer supports Windows 7 systems, Radeon HD 7000, Radeon 200, Radeon 300 and R9 Fury series old cards.

AMD’s official blogAs mentioned above, in order to make good use of resources to develop new features and enhancements for the latest display cards and graphics products, the latest release of Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.6.1 will update the driver compatibility products.

Therefore, some older Radeon graphics cards will no longer be supported starting from version 21.6.1, including Radeon HD 7000 series, Radeon 200 series, Radeon 300 series, R9 Fury series, etc. In addition, AMD will no longer release new drivers for the Windows 7 operating system starting from this version. Users please use the old Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.5.2 version driver.
