Over 400 people residing in the Parco Verde di Caivano (Naples) reported for arbitrary invasion of buildings for having occupied 254 apartments owned by the Municipality without any title: this is the outcome of the investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Naples North, carried out by the State Police (Team Mobile of Naples and the Commissariat of Afragola), Carabinieri (Caivano Company) and Guardia di Finanza (Fratamaggiore Group), which requested and obtained from the court the preventive seizure of the arbitrarily occupied housing units, investigating 419 people, who within a month of notification of the seizure decree will have to leave the property. In a note, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Naples North directed by Maria Antonietta Troncone warns that in case of failure to voluntarily abandon the homes within the prescribed thirty days, the police will proceed with the eviction. According to reports, the 419 people accused of the crime of arbitrary invasion aimed at occupying public buildings never paid the concession fees.
