The Family Doctors of Carcare, Millesimo, and Cengio Collaborate to Improve Patient Care

In a groundbreaking initiative, the family doctors of Carcare, Millesimo, and Cengio have joined forces to ensure the health and well-being of their patients at all times. This collaborative project, in partnership with ASL 2, aims to provide uninterrupted medical care to residents in the Bormida Valley region, including Calizzano, Bardineto, Osiglia, and more.

Under the leadership of socio-health director Monica Cirone and Bormida District director Luca Corti, this network of doctors will work together to address the needs of their shared patient population. The initiative allows patients to access medical services even in the absence of their primary physician, ensuring continuity of care and timely interventions in case of emergencies.

According to Dr. Marco Mannari, the representative of ATF, this new system will benefit over 1900 patients in the region. By pooling resources and leveraging technology, the doctors aim to make medical care more accessible and efficient for residents, reducing the need for long-distance travel and improving overall patient outcomes.

“We want to make sure that every patient has access to quality healthcare, regardless of the time or day,” stated Dr. Mannari. “With this new system in place, we can provide better coverage and ensure that no patient is left without medical attention when they need it the most.”

The network includes a team of dedicated doctors, including Erika Fossarello, Daniela Privitera, Rocco Robertino Pittari, and others. Each doctor will maintain their own office hours, but patients can easily access information about their colleagues’ availability through the ASL 2 website.

This innovative approach to healthcare delivery demonstrates the commitment of these family doctors to prioritize the well-being of their patients and provide comprehensive medical services to the communities they serve. By working together, these doctors are transforming the way healthcare is delivered in the Bormida Valley region and setting a new standard for patient-centered care.
