And since the weekend is for baking and trying new recipes in our family, I’ll tell you my favorite recipe for quick cinnamon rolls made from puff pastry.

Recipe for cinnamon rolls made from puff pastry

Ingredients for 16 pieces

1 pack of puff pastry 30 grams butter, melted or very soft 70 grams brown sugar 20 grams granulated sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 50 grams pecans A pinch of salt

For the glaze:

150 grams of cream cheese, softened 100 grams of powdered sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Photo: shutterstock/ TomNovok Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and lightly toast the pecans for 8-10 minutes. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Roll out the leaves on a floured work surface into a large square and brush with the butter. Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl and sprinkle evenly over top. Top with the chopped pecans and carefully and tightly roll into a roll. Cut into 16 small pieces and place on the baking tray – leaving some space between them. Bake for about 18-22 minutes until golden brown and let cool slightly. In the meantime, stir the ingredients for the glaze in a bowl until smooth and brush on the cinnamon rolls. And voilà – your super easy and crispy cinnamon rolls made from puff pastry are ready.
