Colombian doctors Marco Antonio González, dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, and Samuel Jaramillo recently visited the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. The purpose of their visit was to sign an agreement between the two universities and strengthen academic ties.

During their visit, the doctors met with Federico Alfaro, dean of the UFM Faculty of Medicine, and Lucrecia de Hernández, director of Academic Management. They also had the opportunity to tour the UFM Advanced Simulation Center and explore the campus, accompanied by José Morales, director of International Relations, and Luis Figueroa, director of Public Relations.

The highlight of their visit was a stroll through the Popol Vuh Museum, where they were able to learn more about Guatemalan culture and history. The visit took place on March 2, 2023, and served as a valuable opportunity for both institutions to exchange knowledge and expertise.
