The meeting with the participation of a large number of experts was organized by the scientific managers Maria Ludovica Genna and Gesualda La Porta.
The course – which celebrates the National Day of Women’s Health on the day of the birth of the Nobel laureate Rita Levi Montalcini – focuses on issues related to women’s health. But it also aims to apply one of the areas of intervention provided for by the national plan on gender medicine and in particular that relating to training. Gender is defined as the result of criteria built on social parameters relating to the behavior, actions and roles attributed to a sex and as a cornerstone of health promotion.
