The current Google Play Store logo was launched in 2016 and has been in use for 6 years. However, some media recently discovered that Google is suspected of launching a new logo for the Play Store. At first glance, although this new logo is not much different from the old version, it is still a triangle with 4 main colors, but the corners and main colors of the triangle have been fine-tuned.
It can be seen from the reported pictures that the new logo of the Play Store is roughly the same as the old version, with triangles and the four main colors of green, blue, yellow and red as the design focus. However, the triangular corners of the new logo are more rounded than the old version, and the main colors have become more solid, with green and blue significantly darker, not as vivid as the old version, making the four colors more integrated and consistent.

At present, the new logo only appears on Google Play and GPay, and users will only see it when they use the Google Play Store to make transactions. Only a low-resolution version is available for the time being. Google has not officially announced that there will be a new Play Store logo, so whether the new logo will be officially launched and used throughout the program is still unknown.
